Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forge strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction. Lead account expansion activities and strategically drive long-term relationships.
- Take full accountability for project success, from inception through to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Tailor implementation methodologies to fit each client’s unique needs.
- Develop and manage both long-term and short-term project plans, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and dependencies are clearly defined and met.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, training guides, and presentations.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across internal resources, third-party vendors, and clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Make independent, effective decisions to keep projects moving forward while managing risks and resolving issues swiftly.
- Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Ideal Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale software projects and client relationships, ideally in a senior project management capacity.
- Proven ability to manage client expectations, lead project teams, and deliver projects that meet business objectives and exceed client expectations.
- Advanced proficiency in creating detailed project plans, defining critical paths, managing dependencies, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels—internally and externally. Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and solve complex problems independently.
- Ability to balance multiple projects, set priorities, and effectively handle interruptions.
- A background in IT project management, particularly within cloud-based platforms and software implementations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT project management or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SaaS implementation projects (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Salesforce) and ERP implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with Coupa or similar Source-to-Pay platforms as a user or project manager, and understanding of procurement and financial management processes.
- Experience with Smartsheet, LucidChart, or other project management tools.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant project management certifications, along with any platform-specific certifications like Coupa, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
